This is a sweet classic! this is a very nice and well maintained 1950 Chevrolet Deluxe Convertible with low miles.This car has its original rebuilt 219 cubic inch 6 cylinder engine and a three speed transmission the shifter is on the column.The Engine delivers smooth power directly to the transmission.This is one of the nicest and best running 50s around.The electrical system has been upgraded to12 volt. All the trim is original with only a few nicks or scrapes, the body fit (doors and hood) is not 100% perfect (they are rarely) but close enough to make this an affordable but incredible daily driver or weekend show and shine car, that you will be proud to own and drive..the interior and convertible top is in nice condtion..the instrument cluster and all gauges work.Tires have great tread interior is in good shape includes newer carpet.Car comes with matching fender skirts.Convertible top is newer with boot in good condition I will add more details as they occur to me.This is a great car for the price for this price..this is the ultimate dream car that is sure to go up in value!!! On rare times when the car leaves the garage people stop in the middle of the street to admire it as I stated a great looking 50 convertible that is as fun to drive as it is to look at.The reason it has to go is I have to many cars and I need garage space. Known issues I want to be as honest as I can abought this car it does have one missing trim piece on passenger interior door, lens is missing on light on the convertible top (inside) The radio and clock is still 6 volt and does not work.It need a new exhaust donut but should pass inspection though The convertible top is manual it can be converted to powered.Paint has a bubble at the crome rock guard on driver side rear quarter cant notice unless you run your hand over that area. So he sold this one to me to make room.As far a I know his certified mechanics did all the resotoration on this vehicle.I purchased to add to my collection which has grown and now I need to down size or build a bigger garage. This Vehicle is being offered for sale due to its age it is being sold (As Is with no Warranty implied)and no returnOn Dec-06-11 at 05:35:15 PST, seller added the following information:Someone ask abought the top .It has been replaced around 8 years ago it is is real good shape however no one ever attached the back flaps in the back set area I never have the top up the car only goes out for shine or shows so this never bothered me to a point of attaching it also the plastic rear window needs to be cleaned foggy again car always has the top down I only put it up for the listing all glass in the car is in good shape and windows all work
