This 1979 Beetle convertible has super low 49,097 actual documented miles on it and it runs strong. The Details; The all steel Karmann body on this 79' VW Beetle Convertible is straight & the body panel fit is very good. The believed factory yellow paint has aged well and is in good overall condition. The original black convertible top is in good condition but has one minor repair. The wheels and hubcaps are original and look nice. All the glass, trim and bright work are in nice original condition. Some minor fade on top of bumper. The interior is in good overall original condition and has a nice aged patina. The fuel-injected flat 4 engine is low miles original and an excellent running German masterpiece. Most importantly the chassis, floors running boards are clean, rust-free and are nicely preserved being a California car. This is a super solid example that is a rarity to see in this nice original condition. The Mechanicals; The heart of this 79 VW Beetle convertible is its very low original miles 49k sweet running fuel-injected air cooled marvelous flat four cylinder engine mated to a 4 speed gearbox that shifts smooth and tight.
