This is a 67 chevelle SS. It is a california car, a true 138 car. It has a 396 big block with a 12 bolt rear end and a turbo 400 trans. with the original floor shifter and original console with bucket seats. It has front power disc brakes and power steering (quick ratio) It is a factory air car. The original a/c has been replaced with a new Vintage heat & air system, the Gen. IV Surefit system. It has a couple of hours use time, it works great, very cold! The compressor is polished to match everything else under the hood. There is a new Retro radio installed with audio cables going to the glove box for I pod and other audio devices. This car had a frame off resto around 4 years ago but, the original sheet metal is still in the car, quarter's and floor pans, trunk and frame rails, it all still looks new. The motor was rebuilt and the rear end was rebuilt and the tranny and the front end. There's been approx. less than 4,000 miles put on the car since. The carpet was cut a little short in places but, I have a new carpet for it. The car has a place coming thru on the side of the right quarter, it's not that big but, it should probaly be fixed some day. The guy that painted the car says it's the paint. He fixed it once & it came back & now I just refuse to go back there. Anyway... the car drives great, it's not a race car. It runs on regular fuel and goe's anywhere and has plenty of power and is very responsive! The motor is not the original but it is a 396, the cam was stepped up a bit, the intake & carb. are both Edelbrock, it has Hooker headers with new exhaust. This is a really nice car that could be a really great car for a min. expensive! I don't want to sell the car, I've owned it for a year & a half and I wouldn't be selling it if I didn't have to! There is a $500. deposit due after you win the auction. The balance is due at time of pick up. I will not accept checks of ANY kind. This car is located near Bristol, TN.
