2000 Ford Escort ZX2 ..... with a story ! This car has had two Previous Owners the first Bought the car new in Virgina and drove it about 40,000 Miles then in 2005 A Military Guy Bought the car in Nevada and Drove it only one year and in late 2006 he was rear ended in the left rear taillight, with no time to fix the car he parked it on the Base for safe keeping while he left for deployment. after being gone for two years he returned to find that the base had been rearanged and the few cars that were left, were moved to a storage lot on the base, but just his luck he could not find the car there either. He looked a few other places but since he was only home for a short while he just forgot about the car. once again he Deployed. ok so now a few more years later he came back to the Base in Nevada and after completing his term he was Leaving the Military and when Signing the outgoing Papers there was a note that a storage locker with his name on it needed to be cleaned out and signed off. At first he protested but then desided to at least take a look, Maybe he would strike Gold..... So they went to the lot where the Containers were and the Gaurd opened the container Door and there was His CAR. it had been stuck there in 2007 and never moved. well Its been so long and by this time the guy was ready to go home but didnt really have a way to take the car and didn't know where the Title was so he Left it with us to sell for him........ Ok so now we have the car Filed for the title and got it. Clear title. the tags on the car are still from 2006 and the base stickers are still there as well but we has washed off the rest of the dust and dirt and checked out the car. The Car runs good but will Need a tune up.....been sitting for 5 years, you will need a new battery, and I would guess, fuel filter, oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, ect.... so please don't think you are gonna fly out here and drive it home untill you at least do a good tune up. The engine starts and runs but Hesatates when you step on the gas. the tires seem to all hold air and we have not added any to them. The paint is a little faded on the top , and there is that bit of body damage, mostly just the tail light. there is only 45,234 Miles, please ask any other questions before you bid. this car WILL BE SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER.....NO RESERVE.
