Vehicle Detail
You are viewing a used Ford 3/4 ton cargo van I have for sale. This came from a heating and cooling company that used it in their business. It has built in metal shelves lined with carpet to store items and parts. It also has installed behind the seats a nice metal bulkhead to keep items from hitting you as you drive down the road if they come loose in the back. The middle 1/3 of the bulkhead can be unbolted so that you can walk from the cab into the back if you need to. The van has 204307 miles on it when I took these photos today. I am still using it to run errands and to haul boxes to the UPS store every few days so it will have a few more on it. It runs and drives great. The engine is a 5.8 liter V-8 gas engine. The oil stays up and is clean looking. It has plenty of power and starts and runs great. I have left it for a couple of weeks and you can go out and the battery has stayed charged and it starts right up. The transmission is an automatic and it works and shifts like it should. The transmission fluid is clean and does not smell burnt like some do. Under the hood you can see that the battery is new, and there are several parts that have been replaced as needed. It looks to have been well maintained for its age and miles. All the glass is good in the van and the mirrors are as well. All the lights and blinkers work correctly. The cab is very, very plain. Vinyl seats, no carpet, and a hard cardboard headliner. It all functions like it should, it is just not anything fancy to take your sweetie out on a date in. The seats sit good. The drivers seat has two places where the stitching has come undone or ripped - see photo. The gauges all work as they should and the needles all show what they should - good oil pressure, doesn't get hot, charges good, fuel gauge works. The van has A/C but I do not know if it works or not. I turned it on today when it was cold out (40 degrees) and the compressor did not turn on. It is all hooked up and the belt turns on it fine, but the clutch did not engage when I turned it on. It may sense that it is cold out, but I have no way of knowing. The heat and defrost all work great and the fan adjusts like it should. The former owner or driver installed a very nice Pioneer brand digital front radio and CD player that works great. One strange thing is that the arm rests on both doors are missing. I don't know why, but they are gone. There is some sort of vehicle security system installed on the van. I have no idea how it works. But I noticed there are extra door contacts on the van that I guess would set off the alarm when the doors are opened if it is armed. There is a tag that reads that it is a Viper brand system. The tag on the door reads that it has a gross vehicle weight rating of 8550 pounds. The front axle is rated at 3700 pounds and the rear is rated at 5120 pounds. It has a nice receiver hitch on the back for pulling a trailer. The tires are all in very good condition. The front two are like new and were just replaced. The rears are not as new but are also very good tires with lots of tread. They are all radials in size 225-75-R16 size. They are good heavy tires and I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere to get it home on them. The doors all close and lock up securely. The body and paint are in good condition except for over the passenger rear wheel - see photo. It is rusted through there. The other rear wheel well is starting to show some rust, but nothing like the other side. The rest of the van is pretty rust free. It looks good for a work van. I have been driving and using this van and it really works good. It is nothing fancy, and it is older and has over 200,000 miles so I can not guarantee it in any way. But I am selling it with no reserve what so ever so it should make someone a cheaper work van. It does not smoke or do anything wierd, it has been a very dependable running van. You are welcome to come try it out before the auction ends. I have a clean title for it. What you need to do is buy a bunch of other items I sell and then use this to haul it all home! NO RESERVE! I am starting this at 99 cents with no reserve! I thought for fun I would just see what it does. It will sell to the highest bidder here on ebay - no local sales, it won't vanish off ebay the hour before the auction ends! That always makes me mad when sellers do that. High bidder will be the new owner, I just expect that person to pay for it within one week of the auction ending. Good luck - bid high and bid often! LOCAL PICK UP I am a cattle farmer here in Mid-Missouri, so I am flexible about when you want to come and get items you have purchased from me, but I try and keep a schedule for my families benefit. I ask that you come between 9:00 in the morning and 4:00 at night. I am not available on Sundays whatsoever - that is God and family day, so don't ask! Just because I am a farmer does not mean that I am here everyday, I travel around to auctions and surplus sales and am gone several times a week. So don't do like some folks have in the past and drive 800 miles to get here and find out I am gone. You must contact me before you just show up! My granny always said that showing up unannounced was rude - you have to give people notice so they can get presentable. Trucking/airport pickup I have a local trucking company that I highly recommend that you call if you need a quote on having larger items like machinery and large trucks hauled to you. They are DAB Transport and their phone number is: (816)230-4135. They are located in Odessa, Missouri, and are just all around good folks to deal with. They are equipped to deal with about anything you need hauled, including tall bucket trucks and heavy machinery. I am located 100 miles West of the St. Louis airport, 10 miles off Interstate 70 at the Kingdom City exit #148 in Fulton, Mo, 65251. If you buy a vehicle from me and want to drive it home, there is a nice shuttle service that runs between the Kansas City (KCI) airport and the St. Louis (STL) airport. It is called: MO-X. They make a stop at my exit on I-70 at a McDonalds restaurant to pick up and drop off passengers. I can meet you in Kingdom City with your vehicle purchase so you can drive it home. There is also a local license bureau where you can buy a one way trip permit temporary tag if you want one. PAYMENT I require payment in full within one week of auctions end. Once it is paid for, there is no hurry for you to pick it up - take six months if need be! If you don't come get it after six months have passed since the end of the auction, it will be resold, and my wife gets the proceeds. If you have a legitimate reason why you need to wait longer than six months to pick up your purchase, contact me and we will work something out. If you have any questions, you can e-mail or call me at (573) 219-6611. Thanks for looking and please check out my other auctions! CONTACT ME If you have any questions about this item, or about delivery or shipping, you can call me or email me. Don't be shy! The only stupid question is the one you are afraid to ask. I prefer email as it lets me answer questions at night when I am not busy and it gives me time to find the right answer to your questions. I also run tractors and skid loaders here on the farm and a lot of times I do not hear my phone. I also live in a rural area and in a lot of places I do not get phone service. One of the places I do not get good coverage is in my shop! So if you can't get me on the phone, try back later or better yet, send me an email and I will get back with you. You can send me an email through ebay or you can send it to me directly to: olivetroad@gmail.com My cell phone number is: (573)219-6611 Check out my other items! Be sure to add me to your favorites list!
