Up for sale is my 1963 Falcon Futura. It is an original 260 ci with a 4 speed. The running 260 was pulled and now it has a 302 with aluminum intake and 4 bbl. and electronic ignition. The original 260 goes with the car. I bought the car about 5 years ago as a running and driving all original car. It was bought new right here in dry west Texas and been here all its life. It had no dents or rust. It was repainted original wimbledom white and interior replaced with all original material ( I had to wait quite a while to get the correct door panels and seat covers made). All chrome on inside was replated, new knobs on lights, radio, etc., new dash pad, new carpet, headliner, floor mats, windshield. AM/FM/CD player mounted in glove box. All exterior mouldings were pulled off and buffed and painted. All chrome on exterior was replated or replaced new. All new weatherstripping. New tires, brakes, exhaust system, clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing. I think I got a bad throwout bearing as when you first push the clutch in it makes a noise but when it warms up it is o.k.. I have about 20 cars and don't have the time or desire anymore to keep them all up so I am selling some of them and getting ready for retirement. I have probably only driven the car about 300 miles at most. I think the front end could use some attention as when I drove it last I could hear some popping in left front when I went over bumps. May be shock or tie rod? Underside of car is solid. Mileage believed original due to condition of car and previous owner. Fun car to drive and gets lots of looks.
