Professionally restored 1960 Vw Deluxe Splitty Bus Rebuilt 1600 dual port engine with all renewed or replaced engine components new factory gas tank with sender installed New complete wire harness front and back Upgraded rebuilt freeway flier transmission Lowered 3.5 inches front and rear Upgraded front disc brakes All new brake hard lines and rubber hoses This bus went through a complete rotisserie restoration. The bottom was stripped and cleaned to perfection It is painted throughout the entire chassis and wheel wells to match the body color The entire front end is rebuilt. Torsion arms, shocks, king pins, seals, tie rods, steering arm, etc. Once again complete new front end. The entire rear end torsion arms, shocks, swing axles, etc all rebuilt as new. It is very hard to find a bus of this age restored to this caliber. The body was flawless to start with. Flawless meaning no rust or rot. Just a couple door dings and such. As you can see the undercarriage in the photos, the floors, rockers, wheel arches, etc are all perfect and original to the Bus. All brand new glass was installed including all new rubbers all around. All door seals and gaskets are new A complete new carpet kit is installed All new door panels and custom headliner to match. The seats were completely stripped, repainted, refoamed and sissel padding added. All seat vinyl is new This bus was just completed! It is not an older restoration. The paint is brand new PPG using factory colors All stainless deluxe trim is new including lower trim and sea blue plastic insert. All handles and hardware has been replaced, including interior lights, headlight buckets, bezels, bulbs, ignition switch etc etc. Classic 5 lug chrome rims that are in excellent condition with new hubcaps. The tires are new. They are Vintage styled BF Goodrich radials with thin whitewall This Bus is basically new and better than factory as it has a completely outfitted interior with tri tone colors. It's lowered so it doesn't sway in the wind, better tranny gearing, and more powerful engine. If you've always been dreaming of a Vw Bus than don't let this one get away.
