Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 1966 Ford Mustang. I have had this car for about 20 years. I parked this car for the last 7 years. Recently I replaced all the fluids, filters, spark plugs, gas tank, carburetor, and fuel pump. This car is not factory original. I had 2 parts cars that I pulled parts from to upgrade this vehicle. It originally had a six cylinder 200 engine with automatic transmission. In September 2001 I replaced the Engine with a rebuilt 289 and 4 speed toploader style transmission. I also replaced the front springs to accommodate the heavier Engine and added a Hurst shifter, 4 barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake manifold, clutch assembly, electronic ignition, dual glass pack exhaust, high output alternator with dual battery charging system, 3 row radiator, air conditioner, and an electric coolant heater so you can plug the car into an outlet to get the engine warm on those -20 degree mornings. It also has a dual battery charging system with an upgraded audio system. The car still has the 4 lug wheels and drum brakes that came with it originally. I have the title in hand. However, this vehicle has 2 different VIN numbers. One on each fender. I bought the car this way and misplaced the vin tag that was on the door when I restored this the first time. I have a police report showing that both vin numbers are good and clear. Once purchased this car can be driven away. The clutch is worn and the transmission shifts kind of rough. This car has a manual choke and runs rough when the engine is cold. But the engine runs good when it is warmed up. The paint is faded from the hot New Mexico sun. There are some noticeable door dings and dents in the rear quarter panels. The floor pans are solid with some surface rust hear and there. The frame rails are also solid but have dents from being jacked up so many different times. Here is a small video walk around of the car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTtimchGkR0 I require a $300 deposit via Pay-Pal within 48 hours of the auction end. If the deposit is not made then the vehicle will be re-listed. The winning bidder is responsible for picking up this vehicle in Farmington NM, 87401. I will be glad to hold this vehicle for the winning bidder up to 3 weeks so arrangements can be made for pick up. Payment in full via Pay-Pal or Cash only. Please let me know if you need more photos or have any questions.
