We are relisting this auction because a buyer from outside the U.S. won it. This auction is for buyers in the U.S. only. So please only bid if you are able to arrange for pickup yourself. This auction is for a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am GT. It is black with gray interior, has leather seats and a 3.4L V6. It runs great-lots of power, very fast with impressive acceleration. the mileage has been mostly highway miles. The car has aluminum wheels, remote locks, sun roof, CD player, cruise control and A/C (works!). It is a daily driver and has never sat around. The car has a few small issues. The back seat has a tear in the leather - no piece is missing though. The rear passenger tail light has a piece of the outer layer of plastic cracked off. One of the small fog lamps is missing. There are a few small blisters in the paint where rust may start. The door skin on rear driver's side has a part that is bent out/cracked a little. One wheel was replaced and looks a little different than the other three. The rear brake pads are new but the rotors are a little worn and sometimes vibrate - front brakes are fine. The Body Control Module sometimes has issues, but we will include a replacement that will need "flashed" or programmed by dealer in order to be used. The current one occasionally acts up and just needs its connection wiggled and it comes back on - the connection was corroded a little and was repaired. I have been using it for a year this way - never got around to having its replacement programmed. The Body Control Module affects some of the electronics, including the security system, so once in awhile I would go to start the car and it plays dead. So I wiggle the connection under the passenger side dash until the interior light and radio come on (that's how I know it's making connection) and then the car starts right up and stays on. Not a big deal, it just wasn't enough of a problem for me to make time for, but someone else might want to take care of that first. Once in awhile I get some drips of water under that same dash, which may be part of the problem of why the connection got corroded. I don't know if it's coming in around the windshield or not, but sometimes the floor on that side can get wet. Oh yes - I don't want to forget - the rear driver's side window does not work and occasionally creeps down on its own and has to be pulled up manually. But other than these minor quirks, the car is in good shape mechanically and cosmetically, runs great - lots of power. It has been maintained well and is still getting plenty of usage, almost every day. Good car! Keep in mind that I'm not a mechanic or expert. I am just giving my best description and opinion. It will be up to the buyer to ask questions needed and check the car out for themselves, if possible. Although I have been using the car pretty much daily for about a year and a half, and my mother had it for years before that, it is over 10 years old and I cannot guarantee that new problems will not pop up, obviously, so the car will be sold as is. A $500 non-refundable downpayment is due within 48 hours of purchase. The remaining balance will be due within 7 days. We are in the process of moving so we cannot hold onto the car for longer than that. All arrangements for pickup of the vehicle is left to the buyer and at the buyer's expense if shipping is required. Please email us with any questions and look at the photos. The car is located in Valley City, Ohio (Medina County). Thank you for looking and good luck!
