This is one of the nicest driving vehicles that I have had the pleasure to drive. I have been restoring it for about 7 years now, but I don't have a garage to keep it in anymore so it is time to find a new owner. The odometer says about 50,000 miles but it is a 5 digit odometer so I am assuming it is about 150,000. The engine ran great but it had some blow by. The engine should be rebuilt or replaced. The engine is a 352 FE big block. It is the same block as a 360, 390, 428. There are many replacement engines available for just a few hundred dollars. I had all of the body work done a few years back. There was no sign of any accidents. The interior is all original and needs to be replaced or recovered. Dearborn classics has the entire interior for under $1000.00 The trim is all in very good shape. The engine is a 352 FE big block. 1962 Ford Galaxie Convertible. I have over $15,000 invested. New rear leaf springs, new shocks, new brakes, new brake lines, new starter, new timing chain, new rear quarters, new tires, new battery, new dual exhaust, I have a new top for the car but it is not installed yet. Unfortunately the hood flew up while driving one day and shattered the windshield and ruined the hood hinges. Damage to the hood was small but it still needs some attention.
