1997 Chevy C1500 2wd Automatic The good: Great running V8 that has just had a top end rebuild, new multiport fuel injection, recent tranny service. body and frame are straight. very little rust, Tinted windows. Mostly new tires and spare. The Bad: the tailgate latch needs repair and thepaint is not in the best condition. The ugly: needs cleaning, passenger mirror replaced, and a new windshield. This Truck was a friend's work truck for many years until the central port fuel injection went out and he left it to me to repair and keep or sell. I replaced the fuel injection system and did new head gaskets (compression was low on two cylinders, compression is perfect now) it runs great and mechanically the only thing it shoulld have, is possibly a distributer in a bit (I noticed that it had some wear while I was working on the heads. This is a high mileage truck at 297,000 miles but it has been taken care of with regular maintanance and highway driving. This would make a great work truck or first vehicle.
