Vehicle Detail
This is a numbers matching 1970 Dodge Superbee. Not a clone. Miles are original as this car has been off the road for at least 25 years. I personally knew the original owner and know all this cars history. Car was stored outside under a tarp which is why the condition requires a full restoration. I also know the passenger side door and fender were replaced as the car was backed into years ago. They are still in primer. I have a drivers side fender in fair shape that also goes with the car. I cannot locate the build sheet but will list the fender tag. FK5, H2K4, A07, E63, D21. 383 bored .060, new cam bearings, new distributor bushing. Engine is on stand and ready to be built. Stamped 0A140279. 383HP. 8 3/4 rear with 3:91 gears. I have all engine parts except for the carb.,air cleaner, and exhaust manifolds. This engine was rebuilt once before I got it. This car has black interior. This car should have an orange interior with bench seat and investigation shows it was once orange but was replaced and paintable pieces were painted. Black buckets, black back seat, black headliner, door panels are black, visors etc. No console car with pistol grip 4-speed shifter. Interior is good but needs restored. Rally dash with the clock and tach together. Power bulge hood. Car has been painted once but the bumble bee stripe was masked off and is the original stripe. Car currently sits on keystone classic wheels that are in poor shape. I do not have the stock magnum 500's that came on the car. Body wise the car needs most every panel replaced or repaired. Floor pans are decent but starting to get small holes in them. Torsion bars and K-frame in good shape. Torsion bar cross member needs replaced but is still fairly solid. Engine bay and firewall are in good shape. Some rust at the base of the firewall to the floorpan. 4 wheel drum brakes with no power. No power steering. I also don't have the drive shaft. Front bumpers are original and need to be rechromed. The rear bumper needs to be replaced or repaired and then rechromed. Grills, lights, tail lights are all there. Glass is in good shape and all there. There may be some things I have left out so I urge you to come and look at the condition of the car or send someone if you are a distance away. I have described this car to the best of my ability and also have this car for sale on craigslist and Mopar Collectors Guide so I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells elsewhere. Thanks for taking a look and good luck bidding. Email me with any questions or call me at 616-754-8494 after 5 pm.
