1970 Ford Mustang Fastback Mach 1 Clone 351 Cleveland 4V. Up for auction is a 1970 Mustang fastback with a 351 Cleveland 4V engine (M-code) and a FMX automatic transmission. The car has it's number matching 351 Cleveland 4V engine (block# D0AE-6015-J date code 0C11), a FMX automatic transmission and correct 9" 3.25:1 rear axle. This car came originally with a 4 speed transmission but was change to an automatic by a previous owner. The clutch pedal is still in the car and I have a wide ratio Toploader transmission with bellhousing available at extra cost if the buyer is interested. The car has had both rear quarter panels and trunk drops replaced as well as some floor pan work. The car needs work in both torque boxes, front frame rails where they meet the torque box, deck lid and some floor pan work. This car is equipped with the factory reinforced shock towers which are in excellent shape and both fenders, hood, both doors are also solid. The car has a black interior with standard high back buckets along with some Mach 1 deluxe interior parts (instrument cluster, clock and door panels). This fastback has most of the correct outside trim items installed to make it look like a Mach 1 along with the competition suspension and a nice set of 14 inch Magnum 500 wheels. The glass is the original tinted sun X but the windshield has a stone chip. The car runs and drives well with disc brakes but does need to be restored.
