Up for sale is a 1985 Honda Shadow VT500. I bought the bike from a friend to use as my first bike, but me being over 6 feet tall it just doesn't fit me all that great! I bought a Harley and it fits me better and I don't have room for both. I had the carbs gone through and the bike runs fantastic. The battery is weak and will need replacing, its fine for warm starts but just not enough for the intial start. Bike runs and drives great, shifts through all gears perfect. Tires are near new. Bike is completely stock. The tank has a few small dings in it and are hardly noticed. I will include a pic of those. I have't had the bike very long so thats all I have really noticed, for a 1985 the bike is in overall great shape but obviously it gonna have the minor blemishes. The bike would be a perfect starter bike for a smaller person, and for commuting to work. I am open to local people coming and taking a look just let me know. It is for local pickup. If you can't pickup you must arrange shipping! I will prep the bike for shipping and assist any way I can. If you want to do this let me know ahead of time. I will set my reserve price at $650.
