Eddie must go. I’ll miss him a lot, but he’s simply is too large for my garage and our driveway is too short. I have confidence that he will sell for an appropriate amount because he’s in great shape. “Eddie” is a 2003 Eddie Bauer Excursion with 4x4 and Captain’s Chairs front row *and* middle row. He is powered by the famous 7.3 L diesel (stock) and is as strong as an ox. These engines will easily go 500,000 miles with regular maintenance. Need to pull a house, no problem. 2003 was the last year of the 7.3 and many of the 2003s were the bad 6.0 L – but not Eddie! Of course he has the full trailer package and trailer brakes. One of the things that always amazed me about Eddie is his fuel mileage. I’ve gotten over 22 mpg on some trips and typically get 20 on the highway. It has the 44 gallon tank which means you can drive all day without filling up. It also has the large-mouth tank filler which means you can go through the tractor-trailer lane and fill the tank very quickly. He has a Panasonic stereo system with backup camera, NAV, XM and iPhone/iPod connection and upgraded speakers. Oh, and would you like to watch a DVD? No problem. It’s even set to work when you’re moving. How about a Bluetooth that actual works? You can hear well through the truck sound system and your party on the other end can hear you! This is a three-owner truck, has been well maintained and garaged. The front hubs, front drop linkages on the sway bar, shocks, brake pads, rotors and calipers have all been replaced (I have records for the major services). The front seats have been reupholstered. The alternator, HPOP and HPOS have been replaced. As you can see in the pictures, Eddie has it all. Power seats, heated front seats, front tinted windows, adjustable pedals, dual A/C and everything else you’d expect in a luxury SUV. There are two keyless fobs and the keypad on the driver door. And it’s green! The color an “Eddie Bauer” model should be! The old video system does NOT work. The Third Row seat is in my closet. I only used it once and forgot it was in the closet. There are no tears and it is in perfect shape. If you win the auction you will need to deposit at least $500 within 24 hours through PayPal and the remainder within 3 business days in person. I have the title in hand, so there's no waiting. I’ll work with you on getting the truck to a reasonable location. Also, if you’re going to fly in to Houston I’ll work with you on meeting you.
