1964 Comet Caliente Convertible. This car is well optioned. C-4 Automatic. Power Steering. Power Brakes. Buckets. Console. And a factory “K” Code 4 bbl. 289 V-8. This is about as good as it gets for a 64 Comet. The interior is all original except for the carpet and door armrests and is in very nice shape for its age. I replaced the armrests after the pics were taken. All the gauges work. All the lights work. The engine runs very strong. The transmission shifts well but the parking lock does not always hold. The brakes work well. This car runs and drives excellent. I have driven this car at 65 mph and it is nice and tight. The exterior paint is older and has some flaws (see pics). Minor rust here and there, as you might expect in a 45 year old car. I bought the car out of Florida. The driver side front floor pan has been replaced. Remaining pans are original and in good shape. No rust or bondo that I have found. This is an above average driver quality car, not a perfect show car. Keep this in mind and you will not be disappointed.
