1947 WD-15 Dodge Pickup Truck built to run and show. Took 2 years to build. Starting with original solid frame and added Mustang II components with a 2" drop spindle. Put rebuilt 1970 Challenger 383 Big block motor with a 509 Mopar Purple Shaft Cam, new 750 Holley carburetor and Edlebrock Torquer intake. New aluminum radiator with dual fan setup. New fuel lines, brake lines and wiring. Rebuilt 727 tranny with reverse shift pattern and stall converter. Redone 8 3/4" rear end geared 294 and is open. Manual rack and pinion steering. Set of American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels with Ripken Raptor tires, 20" on back and 17" on front. New Disc brakes on front and drums on rear. Dual Flowmaster exhaust system. Truck cab has been chopped 4" and is painted Viper red and metallic black. Paint and body work was done by Hijaked Concepts here in Waco, Texas. It has oak plank wood bed and spray on liner on bed sides and running boards. Custom interior is in ostrich pattern, it has a radio and CD player with stereo speakers behind velcro panels at back of seat. It has a tilt steering wheel. Cab, floor, roof and cowl has acoustishield insulation. Battery is mounted in tool box in bed and gas tank is mounted under bed at flip up lid. Mileage of 4,000 miles is just a guess but probably not over that as it has not been driven much. I have shown the truck at a few shows this past year and have won or placed in all of them. It is an eye catcher and sounds good, I get challenged a lot at the red lights. I hate to sell it but with age and health problems I don't get the truck out of the garage very often and it needs to go. I waited too late in life to really enjoy it.
