Offered for sale is my 1964 Corvair Monza which is in original untouched condition. It has 55448 actual miles as documented on the title. I bought this car in 1999 with the intention of restoring it as a driver/show car, but life got in the way and it has been stored in a dry garage and not moved since I brought it home over 12 years ago. I did drive it home then and have recently started it up and driven it around on my neighborhood street. The hood, trunk lid, and both doors fit perfectly and open and close the same. The car has never been hit or had any body repair work done as best I can tell. The exterior has been repainted once. This is a good straight car to restore or you can drive it as it is. It does have some rust in the fenders as the pictures show, but not bad for a car this age. The drivers side floorpan also must be repaired or replaced. The engine and transmission are original, and it runs and shifts fine. It will need a tune up and oil change before driving much. I would recommend trailering or towing home since it has not been driven in so long. It will also need tires and a battery. All interior is original and should clean up nicely. It needs new carpet, as original has faded. This car is an original survivor that got away from Ralph Nader, and would be an easy restoration project at not a great deal of expense. This car has not been offered for sale since I've had it , and the reason I'm selling it now is because of my changing interest and too little time. Payment may be Pay Pal, cash or certified check.
