1956 Oldsmobile 98 Holiday Coupe. You are looking at a real deal, unrestored, ORIGINAL PAINT, loaded up, two owner, documented 1956 Oldsmobile 98 two door Holiday Coupe. This one of a kind piece of American automotive history spent the majority of it's life in sunny California accruing a mere 102,640 miles on the odometer. The 98 represented the epitome of luxury in the Oldsmobile lineup. This was the Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz or flagship of the iconic Oldsmobile brand. Every 98 rolled off the assembly line equipped with the following standard equipment: 324 cubic inch Oldsmobile Rocket V8 engine, Jetaway Hydramatic Transmission, Padded Dash, Electric Clock, Power Steering, Windshield Washers, Deluxe Steering Wheel, Courtesy Lights, and Back Up Lights. The original MSRP for the Oldsmobile 98 Holiday Coupe was a staggering $3,740.00 back in 1956! In addition to retaining all of it's original equipment, this unrestored 98 was ordered with and still retains all of the following factory options: Full Leather Interior, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Seat, and Gas Door Guard. This two owner 98 still wears it's original code S20-60 Festival Red over Alcan White factory applied lacquer paint. This time capsule is all original right down to the factory spiral shocks up front. The original 324 cubic inch Oldsmobile Rocket engine has just been freshly rebuilt with less than 100 miles on the clock. From the original air cleaner to the original oil pan, all engine components are original to this loaded up 98 Holiday Coupe. A complete and correct dual exhaust system has just been installed as well. A set of period correct 8.20-15 wide whitewall tires complete the original package. The original bill of sale, dated December 10th, 1955 is included in the sale. Many additional parts are included as well.
