Two owner car from very long storage. It was restored "as needed" from a nice 100% original car during the mid-90's. This is not a "body off" rotisserie restoration. The car is straight, rust free (was always stored properly), never hit. Front door fits perfectly (never bumped at bottom); no metal changed out anywhere. Floors are all original with original factory soundproofing (inside) still in place and in excellent condition. All interior panels are original and in very good condition. All new carpet. Seat was completely rebuilt from springs up with modern foam padding (original coconut straw stuffing was still in place....) and contrasting naugahyde. Really looks great. Car comes with both inside and outside luggage racks (original with car), auxiliary windshield wiper (not on car). All glass is in perfect condition as are all the glass slide channels. Almost everything on the car is original except the ignition key has been updated. Tires are BF Goodrich in as new condition; 12 v battery is new. The engine fires up first touch and runs good, no smoke, knocks or bangs....still a bit noisy for me. I'm told they are inherently noisy. Four speed transmission shifts properly (new linkage grommets), no noises; the clutch is firm and works well. Steering is good (new tie rod ends). Could use a steering damper. Underside is clean and painted. Isetta's take some getting used to (to say the least....). Just did a 1200 grit rub out. Looks killer. The car could still use some "from storage" attention (price commensurate). This is a very nice little car to have a lot of fun with. Vehicle has clear title and the historical vehicle plates go with the car. There are more details and pictures; close up shots of any part of the car upon request.
