The car runs and drives beautifully with a professionally installed NEW FUEL-INJECTED LQ9 6.0 CADILLAC ESCALADE MOTOR THAT GETS AROUND 17-20 MPG'S. This engine gives this CLASSIC CADILLAC modern performance and reliability that you wouldn't find on many other 1960's Cadillacs. It has a BRAND NEW SINGLE EXHAUST SYSTEM that is as QUIET as STOCK. This thing is a REAL SLEEPER! Along with the NEW ESCALADE ENGINE the transmission is a REBUILT TURBO 400 that was installed at the time of the engine swap. It shifts perfectly and smooth with no hesitations and will handle the power from the NEW 6.0 ESCALADE MOTOR with no issues. The car has a PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED FULL AIR RIDE AIR-BAGGED SYSTEM ON ALL FOUR CORNERS WITH A DIGITAL DISPLAY AND 3 USER PRESETS. It is equipped with a LARGE TANK AND COMPRESSOR for QUICK FILLING of the system and ease of use without waiting. There are no leaks or funny business with this system as is common in most other cheap air bag systems. This car is equipped with BRAND NEW BOSS 338 20" WHEELS wrapped in NEW GOODYEAR EAGLE RS-A TIRES. All the brakes have been gone through and FUNCTION PERFECTLY with no pulling to either side. The body is 100% RUST-FREE and free of any dents and dings. The paint is a NEW 2 STAGE base coat/clear coat gloss black that really sets this car off. This is not a show paint job but a nice driver paint job. The paint has not been wet sanded or polished yet and should be done. I have a quote for the wet sand and polish to have it professionally done for $400 and if you're interested I can have this done for you. All the chrome is ORIGINAL to the car and in nice shape for its age. The back window trim is off currently. If I find it it will be included with the sale of the car. The driver key lock is off but I just ordered a new one and will come with the sale of the car. All the glass is in tact with some scratches here and there due to age but overall in nice shape with NO CRACKS OR CHIPS. All the electric windows function properly. The back passenger window is a little slow. The black leatherette interior is in GREAT SHAPE. The front seat was just done along with the FACTORY NEW HEADLINER, REAR PACKAGE TRAY and a portion of the BACK SEAT and it LOOKS AWESOME! The POWER SEAT WORKS PERFECTLY as it should. The ORIGINAL DOOR PANELS are in EXCELLENT CONDITION. The wood is in nice shape although it could use a coat of tung oil since it is dry. The carpet is ORIGINAL to the car and in good shape for its age. The side window rubber could stand to be changed as its the original and dry and cracked, doesn't affect anything. The dash has a couple of cracks but nothing major. The TILT/TELESCOPING STEERING WHEEL WORKS GREAT along with the AUTOMATIC DIMMING LIGHTS. This car is equipped with the RARE REAR FOLD-DOWN SEAT TRAYS AND FOLD-DOWN FOOTRESTS as you would find in the NEW MERCEDES MAYBACHS. The car has a SONY CD PLAYER WITH A REMOTE installed in the glovebox that has MP3/IPOD CONNECTIVITY. The speakers are installed in the front kick panels only. ALL THE GAUGES FUNCTION PROPERLY except for the temp gauge. The bulbs are burnt out in the speedometer display. All the HEADLIGHTS, TURN SIGNALS, BACKUP LIGHTS, BRAKE LIGHTS and HIGHBEAMS work, however there is a crack in the rear passenger bottom backup light lens. An ALL NEW FUEL SYSTEM HAS BEEN PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED WITH DUAL PERFORMANCE FUEL PUMPS. THIS CAR RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT AND IS A PLEASURE TO CRUISE AROUND OR TAKE TO CAR SHOWS.
