1966 Ford Mustang convertible This is a very good looking, running, and driving Wimbledon White '66 Mustang convertible. It still has it's original drivetrain - 289 C-code V8 with 4 speed manual transmission. The car is very original and has had one older repaint. It looks good overall but has some small nicks, chips etc that have been touched up. The car is straight down the sides and the paint still holds a nice deep shine. Interior appears to be original with the addition of a console and a 10 disc Custom Auto Sound CD changer mounted in the globe box. The console is easily removed if to the new owner's taste but I can't imagine anyone taking it out. They should have used on like this from the factory. It's hard to imagine a time when cars didn't have cup holders. The interior is clean and in really good overall shape aside from one small seam split in the top corner of the passenger seat (see photos). It should be an easy repair if it bothers you. Tires are near new (95% tread or better). The top is manually operated. It fits good and is in good shape. All gauges, lights, horn and signals work as they should. This car is not a leaker, it doesn't leave an oily mess on the garage floor in between drives. This is what I would consider a very nice driver quality car, one that you can actually drive and enjoy.
