Vehicle Detail

O.K. Folks this is the last time this car will be offered !!!. I can’t believe It hasn’t been appreciated for the quality car it is. I’m going to Florida soon and the Olds goes with me if it doesn’t sell this time. Due to health and finances I must sell my 1949 Oldsmobile rare bubble top coupe. I originally bought this car in Florida a few years ago and fell in love with it. It’s a complicated story but I sold this car and ended up buying it back for the fourth time. I love this car so much other than losing my e-bay fees I almost hope it doesn’t sell. The engine is a fresh strong running Chevy 350 bored out 30 over. It has a nice lumpy cam, headers and edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor. The transmission is a smooth shifting 200R overdrive and the rear is a Chevy s10 posi-traction and is geared great with the overdrive. The front suspension is stock and rebuilt with manual steering and brakes. It steers easy and stops great with no issues. The exhaust system is great with a nice powerful sound. The undercarriage is clean with no floor pan or trunk issues. Also featured is Streetglow “Gold” series purple undercarriage lights for that floating on a cloud look. The exhaust also has a flame thrower set up. The interior is comfortable, nice, clean and attractive. This car has ice cold air conditioning and a great sounding sony CD sound system. The glass is all excellent and tinted. The body is great with some custom modifications. The door handles and trunk are shaved with remote push button entry on key bobs. The tail fins and taillights are from a 1959 Chrysler expertly fitted to the Oldsmobile fenders. The front fender features unique dual sunken power antennas. In front of the rear wheel wells are 1953 Buick side trim moldings with an air scoop look. This classic has fantastic pin striping by the southern legend “Shaky Sears”. The chrome on the car is great with no issues. The tires are Coker wide white radials with full moon hub caps. The twin spotlights and lake pipes are dummies for that old school look. The car drives and handles great with no overheating problem or other issues. The gas gauge isn’t accurate but all others and speedometer work as they should. The body work on this car is laser straight and the paint has an excellent finish and high gloss. If you inspect the car inch by inch there are a few chips and slight scratches that are touched up. The paint on the trunk lid has a crack but I hate to fix it as it will ruin the pin stripes. Overall this car is one great looking and driving one of a kind custom. The car itself has 95,326 original miles on it but of course not the drivetrain. I do have touch up paint with the paint code formula on it. A car cover is also included with the car. I describe my cars to the best of my ability but everyone’s opinion is different. I took this car to a show a few weeks ago and was in the top ten for a large trophy out of two hundred nice cars. I’ve won many awards with this car. I do reserve the right to stop the auction as this car is for sale locally. This is a quality car and if you can’t afford it please don’t bid. A bid on e-bay is a contract to buy if won. I probably forgot a few details so if you have any serious, real questions please call me at 856-327-0289 or my cell 609-501-5192. If you could find an Olds coupe and tried to do some of the things this car has you would be way above my reserve. This is one great car and needs nothing so bid with confidence. If you want to inspect the car, please do so before bidding. Winner is responsible for shipping but of course I’ll do whatever I can to assist on this end. I can recommend a great shipper if you don’t know of any. Thanks for your consideration and good luck bidding. God Bless. John
