You are bidding on a 1962 Studebaker Lark six cylinder 2 door sedan. It is being offered with NO RESERVE. Engine and Drivetrain: The engine runs smoothly with little smoke. The fuel tank is clogged, and the car runs off a fuel jug in the engine compartment. The brakes require a pump or two, but will stop the car when pumped up. The clutch and gear change is smooth. Body and Chassis: The frame is mostly sound but does have some areas of rust. The passenger compartment floors appear to have been repaired around the door posts, as have the trunk corners. There is rust in the trunk above the wheel arches. There is bondo in the lower doors and rockers. Front fenders have rust in the usual places. Interior: The seats have some rips and tears, and the rear seat back top is gone. The door panels are in good condition. Other: Box of spare parts, (some new, some used - see picture) included in sale, as is an NOS truck lid and an NOS drivers door. Terms: Car is sold as is, where is. WILL NOT SHIP. Payment and arrangements for pickup must be made within 72 hours of close of auction. Vehicle must be picked up within ten days of close of auction.
