Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a great car that is only being sold because i lost my job and can't afford insurance. Let me give you its history as far as i know. I bought this car in august 2007 when it had 98xxx miles on it from an out of state (wisconsin) dealer for $8000. the odometer states 158xxx currently. last summer however, the odometer stopped working and wanting to keep track of my miles i replaced the entire console with a used one which was around 10xxx over the actual. so technically, the car has 148xxx but i cant prove it - threw away old console and pics thinking i would never have to sell this car. in march of 2009, a drunk driver ran into the car while it was parked on the street when i used to live in downtown louisville. he didnt have insurance and i only had liability, therefore i paid 3619 out of pocket to get it fully restored - new suspension, tire, left rear panel and light. i have a complete collision center sales draft to confirm and which lists each and every repair. You'll note the tint on the drivers side isn't as dark as the remaining windows. i had the car tinted after i bought it. a couple months ago while i was out riding my bike, someone smashed the drivers window and stole my wallet during the middle of the day. i was able to find and install a piece of glass at a nearby junkyard for like 40 bucks, it was tinted although not as dark. also, someone spray painted an explicit message on the entire drivers side glass/panelling a couple months ago. i was able to remove the spray paint on the glass with a razor blade and the paint on the finish with rubbing alcohol and applied a rubbing compound/wax from autozone to remove any scratches. i was pleasantly surprised that i got it back to looking great without any damage to the coat. this car runs great - i drove it through a very dangerous and icy snow storm this january on my way back from maryland through the mountains of west virgina and held its own. other than the original odometer quitting, which was replaced, ive had no problems. this is a 2000 so it has been thoroughly used and is not like new cosmetically. there are a few scratches, chips along the hood, and some interior wear and tear. most paint still looks glossy except for the hood where its worn as shown. the interior lining around the sunroof is wearing out as shown. the drivers window crank is broken as shown. as the pictures show, the previous owner had a few mods to it that i can tell. the exhaust ( muffler ), the foot pedals, the vent or whatever it is on top of the hood - pure asthetics. tires are very good. the one picture i included is representative of all of them. it has cd player and i installed a complete sound system. alpine amp. 2 subs. door speakers as shown. any questions, just ask.
