COM On Oct-25-11 at 18:05:18 PDT, seller added the following information: Well let me start with a big thank you to all that have showed interest in this car and for the great start to this auction sorry for the late start on the info on the sale. As you can see I have another wonderful treasure someone has asked me to sale for them, this one is by far a one of the nicest finds I have had in some time. This is a beautiful piece of history just sitting in it makes you feel like you have gone back in time, a time were owning this car would have been the talk of the town. This wonderful car has survived over 75 years and still looks great and runs even better, there have been some parts replace over the years but nothing modified in a way that would diminish the purity of this car. Everything is as it would have been back in the day other than the spark plug wires there a newer style with boots this was done for better drivability. The gas tank has been redone, resealed and painted the fuel pump and carburetor have also been rebuilt, the radiator was recently replaced with an original at a cost of over $1800.00, I have the recite and lots of others that I will forward to the winner. (I will post a few photos) I also had the car professionally apprised last week just so that its clear what kind of shape and value this car is, this was $150.00 expense that you get for free. I will also post photos of this appraisal and include it in the purchase of the car this will be very helpful and can be used for your insurance company. I have taken a ton of photos of this car that can be seen in the for sale section on my web page eddytheb com I believe to have covered every inch I could but if there is something I missed I will do my best to cover it just let me know. I have had this car in my shop now for a few weeks and have had the pleasure of driving it around, it has been a absolute blast there's noting like rolling history. The straight eight has plenty of power don't smoke has no noises runs great. The transmission shifts fine even has overdrive that works good this I have been told was an option and I'm sure the first owner back in 1935 bragged all over town about it. I had no problems with the road tests the car goes down the road great stops good (has vacuum power assist brakes) gets lots of thumbs up driving around. The cars is very clean inside one of my headliner photos shows a big stain but its the lighting its not really there. Unfortunately I got caught in the rain the day I did some of the photos so I hope you can see that there is rain drops on the car not a problem with the car.
