1971 FJ40 Toyota Landcruiser – Clean title in hand. I have purchased an new FJ cruiser and I need to sell my old reliable FJ. I have been driving it every day. It is a strong runner that can go on the freeway, stops on a dime and has lots of new parts. It is not a restoration, more of a restomod that I built as a daily driver. It has some areas that need some cleaning up to make it a 20K vehicle, but I need to get out of it. I coated everything 4 years ago. Its not a $10K paint job, but I painted it to keep the rust out. Rear wheel wells have been trimmed to fit tires, but everything else is pretty much stock. 2 tops – full hard top/bikini top. Two windows on the hard top are cracked, they are the flat glass pieces so the can be cut by any window guy and shouldn't be much. Exterior rear handle latch doesn't work, inside functions ok. New headliner. Has new set of seats and 3 point seat belt harnesses. Roll bar was modified to make a double hoop, but it is not a full roll bar. Here are the major parts I have installed in the last 4 years. Advanced Adapters Parts Aluminum Radiator with trans cooler $ 550 700R4 to TLC transfer case adapter $750 Crossmember $200 Power Steering conversion $640 Saginaw Power Steering Box $370 Headers $250 Lokar 700r4 shifter $250 Engine is GM Crate engine Chevy 350. Still has original stickers on engine. Engine # 10243880, 350CID, 95-00, 4B Main, Gen.I crate motor, roller cam, one piece rear seal, 330HP Front drive is belt drive from early 90's style chevy setup. Transmission is a rebuilt 700R4 with correct output shaft installed for transfer case. $1200 Edelbrock Intake Edelbrock Carb Gas lines are stainless braided AN hoses. Holley electronic fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator. Brakes purchased from Man-a-fre Willwood Front Disc brake conversion $650 Rear Disc brake kit $560 Stainless steel brake lines GM Brake Mastercylinder/Booster $500 All new steel brake lines I removed all the old wires and switches and installed a new wire kit and Painless Wiring switch kit. New gauges all in working order. The speedometer does not function since the transfercase isn't turning the sending unit. Can be fixed, just needs to be sorted out. I did the advanced adapters suggestion of moving the rear axle back 2” to help with the 700r4's length. It has had the drive shafts modified professionally to fit correctly. Suspension – Cool Cruisers of Texas HFS 2.5” lift kit $1220 Heavy duty shackle lift 1” 1.5” Body lift kit using aluminum pucks and all new body bushings. Headlights are Hella Halogen I have installed a 20 gallon fuel cell in the back. I got tired of rusty old tank and swapped it out. I have the original tank that you will get with the sale. Clean it out and use it if you like. I also have the original jump seats that have been shortened to fit between the roll bar that are not currently installed You also will get all the extras I have purchased for the vehicle. I have a front axle rebuild kit that I have not installed, some part for making washer fluid work. I have the correct size socket that works on front bearing nuts.
