This is my 1970 Karmann ghia coupe.I bought this car 2 years ago for restoration, but have been unable to give it TLC due to work. I had a friend of mine put bondo a year ago to keep it from rusting. Body is really solid, small rust issues in the usual areas. It has a 1500cc single port engine and manual transmission . Has been parked at home for about a year so car doesn't start. Engine needs a carborator. When I bought it 2 years ago, I would start it up every other week for ten minutes so engine wouldn't stick. A friend mechanic told me that the engine was solid and worked fine. I haven't turn it on for about a year or so, but am 99% sure that with a trip to the mechanic + tune up, will make it run easily. Car needs a good sanding body work and a good paint job. Six months ago I had the 2 front seats professionally upholstered in tan genuine leather. and the two back seats in similar colored vinyl. I bought universal power windows equipment and universal power locks for the car that will be included. Interior of car looks pretty solid as there are no holes on floor panels . This is a great Car project! (Seats as well as power locks and power windows equipment are not in the car but will be included with this purchase). The two front tires need to be replaced. The left front tire is flat and dry, but the two back tires are New since I never really drove the car . All the glass and windows are there with no cracks. All the light plates are there and there is nothing broken, however, it does need a complete rewiring. I bought a new turn signal switch about 6 months ago since the one in the car is broken (I know I have it around the house somewhere ill have too look for it). A few other things here and there, but overall Fantasic project for Classic Car Enthusiasts! Any questions don't hesitate to ask. Keys are lost don't have them but engine key switch and door handles are cheap with Keys . I reserve the right to end auction early, i have it for sale locally .
