Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1995 E320 Cabriolet/Convertible with 217k dealer maintained miles. This is a 3 owner car (myself being the 3rd). I have a folder of service records from '99 to present, as well as all the owner manuals and keys. All electrical options work except the power antenna and the power headrests (can still be moved manually). The accident you see on the report was a rear end collision that was out of state and got reported, no frame damage, just a new rear bumper cover. I have receipts from the body shop that will verify this. The good: Brand new transmission installed in 2006 at about 160k miles New A/C evaporator installed around 2006 Engine wiring harnesses have been replaced Top works perfectly and does not leak any fluid, some of the hydraulic cylinders have been replaced Car runs and drives well, brakes are less than a year old. Engine head gasket and cylinder head were replaced under warranty in '99 4 matching, newer michelin tires Pretty much all the major issues that pop up with these cars have been taken care of on this one A/C Compressor replaced last summer by me. Climate control system works 100% The ASR (traction control) system has been repaired and works perfectlyHeated seats workPaint is in great condition and really shines, only a couple of stone chips on the hood Seatbelt presenters work as do the rear headrests/rollbar Working 6 cd changer, no magazine sadly The not so good; Top could replacing (not leaking, but looks worn) Front seats and arm rest are worn Wheels could use refinishing (peeling) Small spot of rust on corner of drivers side tail light Wood cracking, per usual Selling because I need a larger vehicle, so I am looking to buy a station wagon of the same model. The car really drives smoothly and is in pretty good mechanical shape. The front struts are on their way out but I have a pair of brand new, uninstalled Sachs struts that I will include with the sale. I have the clean title in hand, vehicle just passed emissions with flying colors and has another month and a half left on the VA inspection (I have no reason to believe it wont pass that either). Hate to see it go but it's just not a practical car for my situation any more. No reserve on this auction. Feel free to message me with any questions, thank you for looking! On Oct-23-11 at 18:42:35 PDT, seller added the following information: People have been asking about the cost of replacing the top. I have priced it out at about 400 for an OEM top with $1000 for installation at a very reputable shop in the area. Although if you shop around I have heard of people getting them replaced for about $500-600 for labor. Don't even bother calling the dealer, you will just laugh. The top and small spot of rust are why my car is priced the way it is, it's been nothing but reliable to me and has provided me with much enjoyment. If anyone needs any specific pictures, let me know and I can send you some high res ones.
