Vehicle Detail

Here is a running and driving 1964 Impala Convertible. It is a true SS, look up the Vin # on the net :41467L120677. It has a 327 engine bored .30 over and was completely rebuilt, a turbo 350 transmission, the brakes, shocks, bearings, u joints, ball joints and much more have been replaced with very little drive time on them. THE RESERVE IS $8500. The car was originally white, with a 2 speed powerglide and a 283 engine. It is not very original in that aspect but does have many things going for it. The 327 engine is out of a 64, runs well and does not smoke at all. The top was put on this year and has no rips or tears. The interior is an Impala Bobs kit and is in decent shape. Yes the car does run and drive but it does need some wiring, a windshield, a side window and the gas tank flushed as I drive it around now with a 5 gallon can in the trunk. The paint was applied to preserve the car and allow me to enjoy driving it until I could afford to cherry it out. There are some waves in the body and some rust, but in my opinion, the car is solid so you DO NOT have to worry about falling through the trunk or the floorboards. As far as wiring goes it has the ignition, brake lights, taillights and headlights, anything else you have to do. If your dream is to buy this car, put an air freshener in it and win shows, keep looking for a $50,000 car. But if your dream is to own a true 64 SS convertible that you can restore as you go, this could be the one for you. You are welcome to come inspect and drive the car by appointment. I have owned the car for almost twenty years, so I really don't know what else to say. Hit me up with your questions. TERMS OF SALE: Your bid is an agreement that is legally binding and that you find this car satisfactory and have inspected it personally or are going off the photos I have supplied in the auction for you. Any misrepresentation is accidental and unintentional on the sellers part. The car is being sold "AS IS," WHERE IS, with ALL SALES FINAL, NO RETURNS, REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. The car is advertised with "NO WARRANTY." I am willing to work with your shipper if they come get the car from my front door, but will not drive the car to them as the registration is expired. I have the right to end the auction early. By bidding on this car, you accept and agree to all of these terms. It is a project, but look at all the other non-running stuff that sells on here for $7000 and then make your decision. Make your dream a reality and build this one the way you want as you enjoy driving it.
