You're looking at a very nice, mildly restored 1966 Mustang Coupe. This car was sold new on June 1, 1966 at Barkhouser Ford in Danville VA. It stayed with the original owner until February of this year and comes with the original owner's manual(with stamp showing original owner's name), the original bill of sale/order sheet, and the original Barkhouser Ford tag frame. I bought a set of 1966 VA plates that come with the car as well. The previous owner had the floor pans, trunk pan/gas tank, and left rear quarter replaced. The motor was rebuilt approximately 20k miles ago. The paint, emblems, and chrome are new. Stainless window trim is still original and very nice. The paint is Vintage Burgandy, just as it came in 1966. I had the motor repainted as well. This car came originally equipped with a 289 V8, Cruise-omatic trans, Full Length Console, and Spinner Caps. This Mustang runs and drives fantastic. It will run 75mph on the interstate all day and steers, stops, and shifts like it should. The interior is very original with the seats, carpet, and door panels all in great shape. She still has the original radio as well. The console has been touched up, but no interior parts have been replaced to keep the originality of the car. It's shocking how nice the interior is. There's a new liner in the trunk as well.
