Up for auction is my 2002 Cadillac Deville DTS. The exterior color is called White Diamond and is a Pearl White (It is not the pink looking Pearl). The interior color, I believe is called Neutral Shale. The car has 62,930 miles on it right now but that will vary as I am still driving it. The car, I believe, has most every option that could be had at the time. It does have the Bose sound system with the Navigation system, Power sun roof, Heated front and rear seats, Rear park assist sensors, Heads Up night vision system and much more. I purchased this car from a local estate back in June as I was having back surgery and could no longer get in and out of my truck. The car was in California until 2007 when it was brought to Erie and used as a summer driver. If you look at the history report you will see that the previous owner only put 10,000 miles on the car between 2007, when it was brought to Pa, and 2011 when I purchased it. The car is in exceptionally rust free, clean condition as it has not been driven in the winter. This car is 9 years old and was owned by an elderly gentleman so it is not perfect, but you would be hard pressed to find a cleaner one. It does have the normal road wear of a 9 year old, senior driven car. Autocheck scores this car an 81 with similar average cars scoring 58-77. It does have a 100% clean Autocheck vehicle history report and shows having just two other owners which was a Father and Son. When I purchased the car it had been sitting as the owner had passed away. I took it to my mechanic to get it inspected and put new ACDelco, Premium brakes and rotors in the front and rear. I also had 4 new Michelin top of the line touring tires installed along with a 4 wheel alignment. To finish the alignment the right front bearing and hub was replaced as it had a small amount of play and new front drive axles were installed. The power steering pump was making a bit of noise so that was replaced along with the engine drive belt as it was original. Two control arms for the stability system were replaced and I also had the engine/transmission mount replaced as that is a common failure on these cars. I also had the engine oil, transmission oil and all filters on the vehicle changed.The total of these repairs was close to $2,000. On the road the car gets an honest 25-27 mpg. In town it gets somewhere between 16 and 17 mpg. It will depend on your driving habits but that is what I get. I did everything that we thought the car needed as I did not want to have any issues which I have not. I thought I would be keeping the car for a while but have decided to go back to driving a truck as that is what I am used to. I may be interested in trading up to a newer 4wd 4door truck or SUV. Yes, I do have the original #1 and #2 remotes and keys. This is so two different drivers can save seat, mirror and steering wheel adjustments and they will go to those settings when the car is unlocked with the corresponding remote. I also do have the original owners manuals for the car and yes, the original navigation cd is also included.
