This car was stolen and later recovered by insurance company and was sold with the salvage title.As you can see from the original pictures by the insurance that there was absolutely no damage anywhere on this RX8. All the body panels,hood , fender , headlights are original and never been replaced or been in any kind of accident.Please look at the before pictures at the end of this listing. CONDITION This car is practically a great reliable car, it is in superb condition, it drives extremely strong and handles like it should.Its been very well maintained ,NON SMOKING and seems to be very well taken care of. Transmission shifts very smoothly, AC blows ice cold. Every single thing in the car is in perfect working order. All electronics work perfectly. WHAT DOES REBUILT OR SALVAGE TITLE MEANS Many people are not familiar with the Salvage or Rebuilt title, below is a brief explanation of the "Salvage verses Rebuilt Title" terminology:Salvage title basically means that the insurance company decided not to fix the car and paid off the owner. By declaring a car "Total Loss”, Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does that means the car is totaled, not always.Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes the owner does not want to get the vehicle repaired and depending on the Insurance Company and the year of the car, Insurance will pay off the owner.If the car gets stolen then Insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, Insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction as a Total Loss vehicle even if it did not have any damage on it. We have bought 'Total Loss" cars from Insurance companies with door dings, extremely minor fender bender, theft recovered vehicles with absolutely no damage.In brief Total Loss does not always mean that the car was in a bad wreck or had extensive damage. We do not buy anything with major damage. Now for Rebuilt title, once the repairs are completed, car is inspected by state for all repairs and a Rebuilt Title is issued, which means that the new owner will not have to get any inspection done to get the car back on the road. It saves a lot of trouble for buyers as they don’t have to get the car inspected or fill out any extra paper work as is the case with Salvage title. Payment Information If you are the winning bidder, you must contact us within 24 hours of winning the auction by phone (214)208 9704 (Nick) or by email through eBay or Precisionautos@yahoo.com to set up payment arrangements. We require a $500 non-refundable deposit which must be paid within twenty-four (24) hours of winning the auction. NO EXCEPTIONS. This deposit can be made through PayPal to Precisionautos@Yahoo.com. In the alternative, you can make your deposit via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or wire transfer. If the deposit is not received within the required timeframe and alternative arrangements are not made, we reserve the right to make the vehicle available for sale to another buyer. The remaining balance is due within five days of making the deposit. You must fax us your state issued driver’s license after you make the deposit. As final payment for the vehicle, we will accept a certified bank check, bank loan check or cash in person. We will not release the title until funds clear. If you pay cash, you can pickup the title and vehicle immediately. If you pay by wire transfer the vehicle will be available for pickup once funds are available in our account. If you pay by bank check, you will have to wait nine (9) business days until the funds clear. If payment is made using a check we will hold all vehicles and titles for nine (9) days or until the funds clear. We require 1 day Notice for any Pickup. Bidder’s Age You must be 18 years of age or older to bid. Storage & Late Fee Terms Once a vehicle has been paid for in full, we will store it free of charge for up to (20) calendar days and at nineteen ($19) dollars per day after that. If the Payment is not made within 7 business Days, there will be $25 Charge per day after that until its paid and if you do not agree to our terms and conditions, please DONOT bid on our auctions. If you need extra time to pay for the auction or want us to store the car for longer period, please contact us before the Auction is over. Liquidated Damages In the event that the winning bidder refuses to honor his/her obligation to purchase the vehicle, we shall be entitled to liquidate damages from that bidder in the amount of two thousand dollars plus two hundred dollars per one thousand dollars of the total purchase price of the vehicle. Sales Tax & Other Fees All Buyers in the State of Texas will be required to pay all the Taxes and fees in order for vehicle to be titled and registered. Registration and Transfer in State of Texas will be done by Precision Autos.Temporary Tag (45 days) will be provided after the sale is completed. For any out of state buyers, we'll provide all the necessary paperwork in order to get the registration done such as work order, inspection or any affidavit.There will be a $200 mandatory charge attached to all sales to cover the costs of a safety inspection, notary fees, administrative fees and a light detail.
