Up for auction is a '70 Challenger R/T 440. Let me start by saying what this car os and what it is not: This car is: a real 1970 Challenger R/T. It is a factory in-violet 440 4 speed dana car, You can clearly see the purple in the door frames and in the dash, so this is the original car and it has not been re-bodied. This car is not: complete. It was stripped down years ago to go drag racing. As you can see it will take extensive repair work to bring the car back. There is not any rust to speak of, but then agian, there is not really any metal to speak of either. What I have: I have the VIN plate that goes on the dash and a good title. I do not have any other documentation for this car (i.e. Build sheets, data plates, certi-cards) I do not even have the dash that came with the car, just the VIN iff the dash. The other numbered peices liek the radiator support and the cowl are long gone. I am not sure if there is a number in the truck frame, or an upside down number or not, but if there is it may still be there. If you tell me where to look, I will be happy to do so. This car still has: -All the factory glass and glass trim -Full doors (that show purple inside of them) -4 speed steering column (and Keys) -the original Dana (verify yourself), it has been narrowed to allow for the slicks. -The entire E Body front disc brake set up, and the shock towers are still in place. -Strange axles -Frame sections are still there and all reproduction metal is currently being made to bring this car back. I have no idea what this car is worth, but I am trying to fund a 426 Hemi for my 'Cuda so I am making this auction a no reserve auction starting a $1.00. Please only bid if you can pay, and more importantly pick it up. You may win this car for like $25.00 so be prepared if you win. The reason I am selling the car in this format is because I do not want to argue with people about what this car is, or how much it is worth. If you want it, bid what you are willing to pay.
