1996 HONDA CIVIC EX I recently purchased this car from the son of the original owner. The car originally belonged to an older gentleman who owned the car until 2010 when he got sick and passed away. His wife was the second owner, she then gave the car to her son after just 1 month of ownership. I purchased the car from the son who owned the car for 1.5 years. The man I purchased the car from acquired the car with 35,000 on it as verifed by Carfax. This is a 1 family car and it shows. The car has never been in an accident. The car has a clean Carfax report that was run recently. The car is completely stock. The only thing that has been changed on the car is the rims and the stereo unit. The car has 17" alloy wheels with tires with 85%+ tread left. The Alpine stereo that works flawlessly. The car is an EX, it has all the options available from the factory, including a Sunroof, power windows and locks, power mirrors, cruise control, A/C, ABS brakes, driver and passenger airbags. The cars paint shines like a new car, the car does have some superficial scratches from being driven and being 16 years old. You will have to look for a long time before finding a 1996-2000 Civic EX Sedan in this condition. This car has just 50,404 and miles on it. It has just recently had the timing belt and waterpump changed along with both front CV axles. It also had all 3 drive belts changed. I have the receipt for this service performed on July 29, 2011 at 48,048 miles. The price for this service was $1,101.15, not cheap. Now everything is perfect and you don't have to worry about the timing belt and water pump for 90,000 miles. Take a look at the video and pictures I have taken of the car. If not, schedule a time for a mechanic to come and inspect the vehicle. I will be driving the vehicle very sparingly, probably another 20-50 miles by the time the new owner comes to pick up the car. I have another car. A non-refundable $500.00 deposit is due within 12 hours of the close of the auction. The remainder of the payment must be made in cash in person. If you are planning on shipping the car please have this worked out prior to the close of the auction. I will hold the car for 7 days at my home after that I will charge $50.00 a day to park the car.
