1988 Honda NX650

You are looking at a 1988 Honda NX650. These are getting harder to find in good shape. Dont let the high miles scare you. This bike fires right up and runs great! I purchased this bike last year just to ride back and forth to work. Im a big Honda fan and loved how rare this bike was. I haven't ever seen another one on the road and thought the stock dual exhaust was really cool. Long story short I probably only put about 50 miles on it. Never had time to ride and usually have my son. I decided that instead of collecting dust the bike needs to be ridden. If you know much about these you will see that the front fender has been replaced with a super-moto style fender. I have the original fender which is in great shape. The forks are from an XR650L that the previous owner put on the bike. I have the original forks as well as a box of other extra parts. I have included pics of the significant defects like cracked plastic and gas tank chips that have been repaired. Just please keep in mind the miles on this bike. It is not a brand new bike but I think that for its age and mileage it is in really nice shape. Feel free to stop by and look at the bike. Also the rear brake light switch is sticking. I little lubricant will probably fix the problem. Not a big deal but wanted to mention it! I just was reminded by a question that another Ebayer asked....the bike does have new chain and sprockets as well as Renthal handlebars. The chain is a nice gold plate O-ring.
