NO RESERVE Notes: This is a great truck and was purchased for my business but in the midst of conforming it my plans shifted. A ton of preventative maintenance was done to the vehicle such as adding the bumper to bumper extended warranty that will be transferred to the new owner, the new tires and all the hundreds of dollars in new parts which now go with the truck. I have only put only about 400 miles on the truck since it was purchased! Since the pictures were taken I have put the chrome door handle trim on and they look great! The truck has never been in an accident but there are two small rust spots, one on the driver’s door (see pictures) and on the driver’s seat base. These are surface rust and are not a big deal. The door has been sanded and white primed since the pictures were taken. My plan was to have the truck professionally painted but since we are selling it that will be left for the new owner. The only other things are the water spotting on the headliner around the courtesy (or dome) light. This was caused by the broken radio antenna. A $100 replacement antenna (receipt available) goes with the truck and its instillation will stop the leak. The other thing is that the glow plug light stays on for a long time but I am told by Mercedes this is normal and it goes out when the truck fully warms up.There is about $16,000 (or more) "in" the vehicle. The vehicle has been valued (with the warranty and the extras) at $13,500 but the reserve is set much lower or about a third less. Also note: A ton of money was spent fully badging this with Mercedes badges. It was sold as a Freightliner but is sold and serviced by Mercedes and they are all the same. There was a recall that provides a new head, sensors and gasket to be installed for FREE by Mercedes. There is no problem at all with the operation of the vehicle and this is not required, it is just an option for the new owner and (again for those who can't read; is fully paid for by Mercedes worldwide) This has not been done as it was felt that this would assure the new owner of all the new work. The truck runs great but the offer is still in place to be performed absolutely for free by any authorized Mercedes dealer nationally. This is like getting a whole new engine rebuild and should further assure the new owner years and years of trouble free service from this great truck! If you don't understand by now there is a lot of value in this unit at a more than fair price so if you're at all looking at a Sprinter this is the one to buy unless you're stupid! It does not come with and is not part of with the sale.. Terms: A non refundable $1000.00 deposit is due within 3 days of the conclusion of the auction via PayPal. The vehicle is available for immediate pickup following receipt of the balance which may be paid in cash, wire transfer or bank check. We will meet at my bank to receive the balance, witness signatures and turn over the title, DVDs and other materials. Look this is a deal for a smart person. If your dumb and don't understand then please don't bid, but for the smart person this is one hell of a deal with the parts, the warranty, the diesel mileage and all. So either get the point or move on and get screwed by some dealer and a truck without a warranty! I have no trouble selling this truck since no matter what it is fully covered.
