It was the last year with the bullet proof 5 cylinder turbo diesel engine , which is known to go for a million miles with the right maintenance . There are several Mercedes diesel of E bay right now with over 500k miles and still running well . My car was finished in "Classic White . The body and the paint are in great condition . There are no dings, dents or scratches . the carpets are clean and even the wood is good shape . The car is original . It was a rare and expensive option in 1985 . The car has been maintained well and it runs accordingly . Just recently we had a new fuel-pump installed , the valves adjusted and the fluids and filters changed . We also charged the AC last month and it is blowing cold. It has been very reliable for us and it is a pleasure to drive . I would prefer to sell the car here in town to somebody who could actually come by and see it. This is a wonderful 26 year old car in great condition.
