Vehicle Detail

I have a very nice 95 GSPD that I am reluctant to sell, but really need to. I bought the bike back in April and had planed on going to Colorado to do what the bike was built to do. Of course, I never had the time to make it. I bought the bike with 41K miles on it. The speedo quit working within a week of me buying it, so I bought a Brand new one from Gateway BMW for a little over $500. The speedo, as of today, reads 1435. ALL service work has been done to this machine. The following parts have been replaced since April: New Parts: 1.Speedometer 2. Clutch Cable 3. Carb Diaphrams 4. BMW Air Filter 5. New Battery with 690 Cold Cranking Amps 6. Brand New BMW driveshaft 7. Imput Shaft Seal 8. Output shaft seal 9. Neutral Switch 10. Rubber Boot from Drive Shaft to Trans 11. Front Brakes 12. Both BMW Plug wires Last month I pulled the trans to Lube the Clutch/trans splines. The splines looked great, so I cleaned them up, and put some new grease on them. While I was there, I found that one of the u-joints was a tad ruff, so I opted to go ahead and replace the driveshaft. I also replaced the imput shaft seal on the trans, and the output shaft seal, and the neutral switch on the trans. The rubber boot from the trans to the driveshaft was showing slight signs of cracking, so I replaced it as well. The carbs were also syncronized durring the operation. The bike needs absolutely nothing but a new home. The bike comes with a Corbin two up seat(has a tear at the left rear edge, and a solo corbin seat. It also has the luggage rack you can instal when using the solo seat. It has the factory BMW Saddle Bags. The left one is a tad sprung, but it still works just fine. The bike had a Super Trap aftermarket exhaust when I got it, so thats what is on it right now. It gives it a good tone and sound. Sounds like the bike dirt bike it is. The rear tire is about 70%, and the front is about 40%. For an extra $250 of the sale price, I will put Brand new Metzler tires on it. The bike doesnt use or leak any oil. The Engine, Trans, Final Drive and front brake fluids have all been changed also with all BMW oils and filter. The bike has a Parabellum 26" windshield. I am 6'3 and the windshield wasnt tall enough for me, so I heated it up and pushed it forward. You dont even notice it unless your looking for it, but it made a BIG difference in riding. If your have any questions, feel free to call me at 573-819-0055. The bike is for sale locally, so I reserve the right at any time to end the auction. I will be open to the idea of delivering the bike within 200 miles or so for a fee. These bikes are rare. I have not seen another 95 Red and White GSPD on ebay in years! The Red part on the front fender has some chipping, and the red chin spoiler or engine cover has normal rock chips from use. This is NOT a brand new bike, and is 16 years iold. It does show sings of use and has the normal wear of a bike with 42K miles. The bike is in Columbia, MO 65202 and is riden to work daily.
