This Is a GMC tree cutting truck 1998 with the telex bucket High Ranger bucket. This was used for cutting high trees around power lines in FL. This Is a 50 or 55 ft high ranger bucket truck. It was a asplunt truck. The dump bed works fine. The bucket extends fine. The engine is v 8 gmc. I drove the truck from west beach to ft Pirece fl and Vero Beach. the truck is in strorage now in Vero beach. I Used the truck to trees on one property. Orginally bought the truck because my Grandson was interested in cutting trees. He has since changed into apt maintenance. I changed the oil, new Oil filter, air filter, Plug wires, dist cap . The pony motor is a Kubota its 3 cyld, runs good. I replaced all the fuel lines and air filter on that too.It s a 5 speed stick, Has nice prindle hitch that rotates for chipper towing. It was Aspulnt orange so I had painted white. The roof cage was black, I had that removed so cab and roof rack could be cleaned properly and painted. I havent used the truck more than 10 Hrs. Its telex High ranger, bucket rotates fine, out riggers work good. This truck was used to cut high trees around power lines for fl power and light. The milage is 128,054. the truck runs good the interior seat has some wear and tear. The front fenders are I think other than metal. The fenders are clean but the gowling is plastic and the passener side has a crack in plastic, I dint try to repair it because it didnt bother me. The passenger side plastic has about 3 inch small crack by the marker light. The dump bed it pretty clean, The cab is pretty clean for a truck that age. The engine is 6.0 liter v 8 There is crack in the exhaust manifold on passenegr side. I found a exhaust manifold for $125.00 but didnt replace it because it runs fine. The high ranger is Terex Telect at least 50 Ft or maybe 55 ft. will find out definately check ebay questions . I will last answer that in 3 days. The truck is ready to cut trees. Has hydralic lines up on bucket for hydrallic pole saw. I have a hydralic saw, will sell seperatly but no hydralic lines. The commercial guys use those hydralic saws. They are expensive so will help with deal on that if u buy the truck. The Kubota Ponny motor runs good, electric start, fuel comes from main truck gas tank. Its kubota 238 12581 68801 3 cyld Gas. I bought a new seat cover for the seat. I put 4 new door pins and pushings in the door hingesand painted the inside of the doors white. The inside of the roof ( interior )and around the rear window is still asplund oranage beacuse there are a number of saftey stickers there.I also had the small crack in the fender gowling glued.
