Up for auction is a 1968 VW Classic Beetle. I have owned this car for a little over one year, but purchased it from the ORIGINAL OWNER. Have copies of original title, the original owners manual etc. This car has all original parts, glass, interior, etc. Runs good. Although, the clutch cable recently broke. Have new cable and parts for new owner to install. Selling because I purchased another VW, and dont have interest in keeping this one stored until I decide what to do with it. Car is all stock and has not been modified. Paint is dull and there is certainly a good amount of rust. Rust particularly through the driver side front floor pan. I drove it all over town last spring and summer, stored indoors for the winter, started it up this summer and drove it weekly just because its fun to drive and I'm a VW fan. Would not be a good purchase as one's only form of transportation. This is a great purchase for someone who loves VW's - wants a project, or has interest in all of the many "good" parts this car still has to offer. It starts, runs, lights, horn, radio all work.
