Vehicle Detail
2004 Chrysler Crossfire in excellent condition. The previous owner of this car from whom I purchased it was an elderly gentlemen who owned it since 3,000 miles. The miles he put on the car were almost exclusively highway miles picked up from his 100 mile a day commute to work. Dispite the mileage this car is in beautiful condition, and is %100 original. The paint and body are free of any major defects with only normal road wear is present. It has never seen snow. You can see from the pictures just how well the paint has aged on this car. The red metal flake paint still shines beautifully and there are no spots of clear coat peal, rust, or bubbling that I can find anywhere on the body. Rear bumper has slight flaking just behind the rear wheel on one side but isn't noticeable unless you get down on the ground. Mechanically this car is tight as a drum. The engine starts every time, and runs perfectly without any knocks or rattles, and there are no warning lights of any kind. All of the hoses and belts are free of dry rot and cracks, and there is absolutely no rust anywhere in the engine compartment. I have kept up on the oil and fluid changes per manufacturers guidelines, and the oil and filter were changed within the last 100 miles. This car has been mechanically sound throughout my ownership, and I have still invested over $1500 dollars in preventive maintenance in the last 3 months (02 sensor, MAF sensor, rear brakes, new switchblade key), and I have receipts for that work. The good news continues with the transmission as well. Absolutely no grinding, slipping, or clunking. The transmission bell housing still has the factory sticker on it. The clutch is strong and the pedal is free of play. Tires are good all around, though I would say the rear tires should be replaced if you plan on driving it long distances. The interior is also still in very good shape. Every option is still in perfect working order. This car is equipped with electric mirrors, electric windows/locks, power heated leather seats, dual climate control, traction control, and a trick electronic spoiler. The headliner is clean with no rips or bubbling, the dash is free of cracks, and none of the buttons show any signs of wear. Even the shifter still clearly displays gear positions and shows no wear whatsoever. The seats are also in great condition with no cracks or rips, and only a slight spot of wear on the left driver side bolster. Same story goes for the carpets: no rips and all original mats. There is some wear on the sides of the center console, and on the glove box lid, but it's purely cosmetic and is easily fixable. Driver side power seat does occasionally cut out, but always start working again. This has never been something I was desperate to fix considering it's one of those set it and forget it items. Overall this car is in excellent condition and has plenty of life left. Not only is it a fantastically beautiful car, you also won't find one in any condition for a better price anywhere on ebay. Feel free to contact me for any more information. I will try to post a video of the car soon and can supply more pictures upon request. Test drives are also welcomed. (MSRP: $33,620) Sold as is, where is with no warranty expressed or implied.
