1959 og black paint beetle with a sliding ragtop! This sexy little beetle has been shot with some clear coat to preserve the excellent patina... Hand pinstriped throughout!!! Excellent job!!! There are numerous rare accesories all over this beetle so please look at all the pic's closely!!! Chrome hinge covers, headlight covers, vert lid conversion, rear intake scoops, robri guards front and rear plus foot scraper (front & foot scraper not shown but comes with the bug), robri D badge, rubber bumper guards on the rear!!! on and on and on... Thousand of dollars in accesories alone... All the outer window rubber/felt has been replaced and the rear popouts! No leaks or rattles with this one!!! The interior has all been replaced and to a high standard... No kit on the red reupholstered interior... This was custom made and it's gorgeous... The 36hp engine has been built to stock specs by Joe Ruiz who's the best in business rebuilding these early engines and it flat out purrs like a tomcat in a creamery... It's been updated to 12volts and a 009 dist but otherwise stock and has about 12k on it... You could easially fly in and drive this home... I drive it several times a week at 40+ miles a day... Narrowed 7 1/4" air beam that works great along with the dropped spindles give this beetle the best ride and look with just the touch of a switch... If you need to raise it up just pull the switch... The nose cone is new and shifts perfectly... The brakes are all in perfect shape and recently adjusted... This beetle runs and drives perfectly and needs nothing... This thing is crazy cool and solid... Sprint Star wheels are new and made by BBT but I added empi stickers so they look like original EMPI sprint stars... The fronts are 4.5's & the rears are 5.5's with new tires 145/65's & 175/65's... The suicide knob & stop light don't go with the car!!!
