Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1971 Olds Cutlass. I have had this car 10 years & it has been a turnkey car for all 10 years. Always registered & insured never sat for more then a month or two but with two kids & two jobs I just dont have time to fix it up the way I want it or use it much so although I have never had such a hard time puting a car up for sale before I figured would pass it along befire it sits for another winter. OK i tried to take pics of all the rust. car had some bodywork before I got it & what you see is after 10 years of me having it. I garaged it till 3 or 4 years ago but now it has just been covered for the past 3-4 years. floors & trunk are solid but from in the trunk you can see some of the patch work done on the rear 1/4's Motor ia a 1973 j head 455 (rebuilt 10 years ago with receipt) pretty stock inside but does has 10.5 compression Edelbrock intake & 750 Edelbrock carb Dougs headers into 2 1/2 in pipes into flownasters with no tail pipes (but I do have tail pipes) runs great no smoke ever. Trans is a TH400 also rebult when trans was done, has a 3000 stall converter that is all wrong for the car I have a stock converter new in the box but never installed it. Also trans has no speedo drive did no thave it when I bought her dont know why always used my gps for a speedometer. Interior is original & seats are not that good but I have a new black back seat kit & some back leather 2006 VW seats to stick in the front & has a s&m ratchet shifter. Stereo is a cd/mp3 player but works when it wants to not sure if is the radio or the wiring. Brakes are manual 4 wheel drum & work as good as they can. stops straight & true. Tires are good other then the right rear (drive tire) Rear is a 12 bolt 323 rear but is not a posi Top is on it;s way out. I never drive it with the top up but will keep you dry. was power & power is still hooked up but the pass side ram developed a leak & I unbolted it have used it as a manual for the past 5 years. Anyway a good winter project that you can drive home today. I would not hesitate to drive it hundreds of miles Here is a video of her running & driving http://s136.photobucket.com/albums/q168/bsiverson/?action=view¤t=photobucket-5075-1318280750006.mp4 On Oct-15-11 at 22:21:47 PDT, seller added the following information: I can not add anymore pics so for.
