1972 Honda 250

I have to many toys and am about to move, so some must go. I am the second owner of this motorcycle and have owned it for more then 30 years. But as you can tell from the mileage I just never had much time to ride it. But, it is one of the best bikes I have ever owned, they just do not make them like this anymore. I am not much of an ebayer, so if you are really interested and have more questions please email me. This XL250 is in great, but used condition for how old it is. I am going to let you come up with your own conclusions based on the pictures. I last had the carbs cleaned in 2006 and other maintenance like an oil change done. It ran great then I have not used it since. (UPDATE: I took the fact that it did not sell the first time as hesitation b/c of this. So I brought it in to the shop to have them get it running and it does just fine, took it for a spin around the block. What fun it was, I will really miss this bike...) My tems of this sale are that it is sold as is, no warranties or guarantees. The buyer will have 72 Hours to get me a deposit of $500. They will have until they pick the bike up to pay the remainder. The motorcycle must be picked up within 30 Days of the sale date or else I will keep the deposit and the bike. I will assist as much as I can with helping you ship it or pick it up. Not a 1972. Ebay wont let me edit that, so if you were only looking for a 1972 I will allow all bids previous to 2 pm EST 10/15/2011 break our contract. I also put the VIN up. Someone asked about the seals, they are holding now but original = Old, take from that what you want I will not say they are good or bad, but holding. The Motorcycle will easily cruise at 60 mph and I have only topped it out at about 80-85 mph.
