Vehicle Detail

Rare European specification 745I -A. This is the executive model, appropriately originally owned by a vice president in charge of international marketing at Intel Corporation. I am the 3rd owner and I have all of the records belonging to the car starting with the US customs import paperwork, up to recent oil changes, a rebuilt transmission and everything in between. The car has been in Oregon all its life as Intel is located in Hillsboro , Oregon. The car runs and drives and I would not hesitate to drive it on a long trip today. This car has options never heard of in other 7 series cars such as: The factory turbo charged 249 HP intercooled 3.5 litre engine. Heated multi-position electrically controlled seats both front and rear with heaters in all seats. The interior is leather, water buffalo in particular and was a $5000 option . There is a BMW installed red fire extinquisher mounted just forward the drivers seat. There are wipers on all four of the headlights, as well as Euro spec extra sets of white drivers lights and extra fog lights in the rear. Transmission is automatic with 3 modes of driving, Economy sport and manual shift. Condition: Interior is very good or excellent, carpet is unworn and covered with BMW matts, dash is perfect, all the leather looks unworn with a couple of tiny exceptions, one in the front passengers seat and there are a couple of tiny scuffs on the console leather. the door panels by the way are also the water buffalo leather, believed to imported from South Africa at the time. Exterior condition: Original charcoal gray paint, with a lot of clear coat fading on hood and roof, other wise very good, shines and looks good from 20 feet. There are two parking lot small indentations one in rear, one in side, zero rust anywhere. trunk is dry and excellent throughout. All glass perfect Mechanicals: Car starts easily, is quiet and smooth running, drives very comfortably around town and really is most at home on the highway at high speeds. Acceleration is nothing short of astonishing, throwing the driver back into the seat on hard acceleration. There is some hesitation on the hardest accelerations at about 4000rpms which my mechanic is fuel filter or vacuum related. The transmission shifts smoothly without hesitation or slipping in all conditions. Exhaust is good, shocks are newer Bilsteins, The car has its original 390 metric wheels and the tires are in need of replacement very soon. Brakes are excellent, car drives straight down the road and brakes straight.
