1973 Triumph Bonneville

This is a triumph t140v I believe it is a bonneville but it has a single carburater on it .The frame and engine numbers are matching and I have a clean connecticut title for it.I purchased the bike with a chipped transmission gear which I had somebody replace and assemble it back for me.I was told the bike ran before the transmission issue but I have not had time to mess with it .The engine does turn.The bike has been sitting for a long time and there is no battery with the bike.The tank is just sitting on the frame it is missing the mounting hardware.The bike seems to be complete but will need to be restored.There is some rust on the rims and in various other spots although the paint on the frame is in suprisingly very nice shape .The tires have quite a bit of tread on them but have been sitting for awhile and the brakes need some service.But all and all with a little work this could be a great motorcycle with a front disc brake and five speed transmission.
