Vehicle Detail
Hello this is one of our work trucks. We are selling it because we no longer need it in the present economy. This truck is a strong running work truck. The guy who we bought it from rebuilt the motor and tranny @ 179,000 miles. We bought it with 201,000 on it and have driven it around 6000 miles and we put a new radiator in it during that time. The truck uses about a 1/2 qt. Of oil between changes (3000 mi.) I don't have paperwork on the rebuilds the guy I bought it from didn't save it so I didn't get it from him however it is very apparent that this motor doesn't have 200,000 miles on it. It runs out very strong with no smoke, rattles or funny noise from the engine. The transmission shifts out smoothly as it should and the truck drives and tracks pretty well going down the road especially for its age. The tires have probally 30% left on them but probally need rotated and balanced if your going to use them because the truck seems to pull to the right a little on some roads but doesn't have much play in the steering and the brakes don't grab or cause pull so I think the tires are causing it but im not much of a mechanic. All in all this truck is easy to drive for a work truck but it certainly doesn't drive like a new one. The truck has ac and the components are all there but it doesn't work. I don't know its problem. The heater works well which is most important for blading snow. several knobs are missing on the interior, and the dash has a crack in it. The floor on the drivers side is rusted thru as you can tell by the picture. Apparently the drivers window was left down for some time after the motor went out before the rebuild at least that's what I was told and I think its probally correct because I don't see any other major rust spots on the rest of the truck. The frame is solid with much of the undercoating still visible . The truck has several dents and dings and scrapes as you can see in the pics but is pretty solid. The blade came off a 90 model dodge and worked great on that truck. It has not been installed on this truck yet but has all the pieces that it came with including most if not all the bolts to mount it. It is hydraulic not electric operated and it worked perfectly when we took it off the other truck. The blade and its components are in very good shaper for their age but keep in mind All of this is sold as is where is with no warranty but I will guarantee the truck to be a strong runner and to be as described and not doa or your money back BEFORE you take it home. So if you get here and don't like the way it sounds you don't have to take it. However please bid only if you have the money to pay for it. We need to sell it now so payment is expected promptly with no exceptions. I think I have covered what I know but im sure you may have questions so feel free to ask.I do have this for sale locally so i reserve the right to close and sale. I will help with loading for shipping if you need it can be driven to wherever you are. We take it to kansas and texas on a regular basis so it is dependable. Thanks for looking and good luck.
