Vehicle Detail

1967 Shelby Mustang GT350. Fresh rotisserie restoration by one of the leading national Shelby Mustang restoration experts, Bob Wolfe. The paint is high level show quality. This is a #1 Concours Shelby. It is #2639, authenticated by the National Shelby Club, listed in the Shelby SAAC Registry with history, and has a Marti Report which is included in the photographs. This is a California car purchased new in San Francisco from S & C Motors and has lived most of it's life in California, Texas, and Oregon. This is a very original car with a change in color from Wimbledon White to Acapulco Blue. I've never been a fan of white cars. I've owned four Shelby Mustangs, both 500's and 350's over the years and was searching for a car with no rust or replaced sheet metal. This car met that standard. When it was being stripped and repainted the body shop commented on how they had never seen a 40 year old car with no rust, replaced sheet metal, or previous repairs. Automotive experts say you should always begin a restoration with a sound car to achieve a great end product. That's what I endeavored to do. I have a lot of original paperwork with this car to include the original invoice, Ford Motor Company special vehicle order and parts specificiations, warranty repair records, and all restoration records. The paper trail is about two inches thick. The wheels on the car are reproductions. I do have three of the original wheels that go with the car along with some of the original smog equipment, original radio, original headers and other odds and ends. The dash is signed by Carroll Shelby. This is a stunning, museum quality Shelby Mustang. The best I've ever seen, let alone owned.
