Up for auction - my 1955 Thunderbird Project Car: I have decided to sell the car that I intended to re-do for my wife. This is a 1955 Ford THunderbird VIN P5Fh213555. Please note I had the car on my friends frame with 7" RISERS - these are used to help a body guy redue the car. The risers go with car as does the door supports. As you can see in the pictures, I have placed the body onto a 55 T-bird frame and removed the risers for secure transport. Motor and transmission is out of the car. Please see pictures of all the casting numbers - I believe the motor and trans are original to the car. Car does have a fiberglass front left fender - I have another fender, i will add pictures later this week. Car does have some soft spots - note the previous owner had added several cans of undercoating which I had started to scrap off. Steel under the undercoating is very good shape. I will also be listed a powdered coated black 55 frame which did come off this car. Again - The frame in the pictures (see album link below) with the lift kit / riser kit is my friends frame, that frame does not go with the car. And finally, I have pictures of the car with the frame I show pictures of mounted to the car with out the riser kit - this is the frame that is sold with the car. The riser kit will be given to the winning bidder. Doors look very nice to me - the lower seem looks solid, not rusted out. Left front fender is fiberglass - I have a steel fender that goes with the car. What you see in the pictures (items on blue blanket) are included with the car.
